Wing's shadow

 

"He shall cover thee with his feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." - Pslams 91:4

 

In a garden little chickens were foraging for worms. Suddenly mother hen made a call and all the chickens came and hide under her wings. Someone was observing this and looked around to know what's happened. Then he noticed an eagle was targeting these chickens. He was astonished to see the love and kindness of the mother hen. 

 

My dear young sisters! We are living in a unsafe world. Devil our adversary is roaming, seeking whom he can devour. The only place for us to hide from his trickery, struggles of sin and temptation is the shadow his wings. His presence is the only place for us to protect ourselves from the tricks of the adversary. We should come under his presence if we want to escape the horrible sins of this world. His Bible verses are our protection from bad friends and their influence. If God and His words are not with us, then it is an unsecured life. 

 

Knowing this, the psalmist marveled, amazed and wrote about the protection comes from the God in Psalm 91. He writes from his experience, Secret place of the most High, shadow of the Almighty, His feathers, His wings, He is my fortress and He shall give angels charge over thee are some of the ways through which God protects us. Yes my beloved precious children! God not only gives protection for our body, but also for the spiritual man, stainless life and secured growth. So in this sinful life take refuge under His wings and experience the protection.
