Fragrance

 

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before hand that we should walk in them.” - Ephesians 2:10

 

Hello children, how are you? I believe that you all are well in Christ. Don’t forget to thank Jesus for He is protecting us with good health. Okay are you ready to listen to a story? 

 

There was a village with no proper road. That village had a primary school for 3-5th class children. Lunch will be provided in that school. Oh your schools also have lunch? That’s good. Vicky will pray and thank God daily before eating. Do you pray and thank Jesus when before meals? No? You should do that okay. Some boys will make fun of Vicky for praying before lunch. They said let us see whether his sambar rice will become biryani as he is praying daily. 

 

At that time school head master came to the children whether they are eating or not and advised the children not to waste food. On seeing the head master, those who were teasing Vicky were silent. HM asked what is going on here? It is as if you held a conference here, one of them said “Sir Vicky used to pray daily before eating... ". He said, “Are you making fun of him for praying? Did you see he is obedient and good in studies is because of his prayer? They all realized their mistakes as he said "He is standing out because he prays before doing anything". They all wanted to be like Vicky. The next day they all thanked God for the lunch. The HM was thinking something as he was walking. He realized, event though I know Christ, i do not thank him for the lunch. He had a change in him. Vicky's fragrance pulled lot of others to Christ. 

 

Dear children, like Vicky, your friends will know God if you live as a source of fragrance. And Jesus will be very very happy, won’t He? Are you ready to make Him happy?
