Victory in the name of Jesus

 

“If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” - John 14:14

 

Ludwig’s legs were broken; he spent his days bedridden, agony and in pain. One day while reading the Bible the verse John 14:14 shook him. He read the verse over and over again. He called his mother and asked her "Will God heal me and make me walk again, will God do this good and bless me?" His mother joined her hand with his hands and started praying with faith. 

 

Ludwig started to have complete faith in God. After 3 days he got up from bed, walked and ran. He went to Sumatra Island in Indonesia as a missionary when he was 24. He shared about the God who made him taste the love of God by performing a miracle to those islanders who were called as "Batak" and didn’t know God. He preached Christ by withstanding lot of hurdles and hindrances with patience. He started translating the Bible in their language. He gained 2000 souls between 1862 -1876. In 1878 he released the New Testament in their language. They started to grow in Christ as they have found a great treasure. Nowadays, most of the Christians Indonesia are living in the Sumatra Island. 

 

My dear! We should have faith when we pray that God is listening and He will answer. A prayer without faith is useless. When we pray by realizing that Jesus is pleading for us to the Father, Holy Spirit also prays for us (Romans 8:26-27). We are qualified to pray to the father through Lord Jesus. So let us pray in the name of Jesus and lead a successful life. Let God's grace support us. Amen
