Time is Gold

 

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” - Ephesians 5:16

 

Hello children! How is your school life? You want to go out if you get a holiday wont you? That is good. But how are you utilizing your time? We are kids so can't we be happy? You might ask. You will be a blessing for many if you learn to use your time wisely since childhood. Shall we listen to how Cathy spent her holidays? 

 

One day Cathy went to their coconut farm with her father. It was in the foothill of a mountain near a river. It was very beautiful. She was admiring the squirrels running and the birds screeching. Her father gave her a tender coconut. It was very tasty. Have you had tender coconut? It is good for health during summer months. Do you know what Cathy did after that? Water was flowing through the pump and she started bathing and playing in it. 

 

She went home had lunch and had a nap. She started cleaning the house in evening and did the homework. Children! Do you help your mother? Good. There was no sugar so her mother told her to go to shop and get some sugar. She happily did that. She thanked God during the family prayer at night. She spent that day usefully. Jesus would be happy about Cathy won't He children?

 

Children! Every day is given by God and they are so valuable that they can’t be taken back once spent. Time is money. So don’t waste your time by using mobile phones and watching TV not doing homework and not studying. Enjoy your life like Cathy. And do your duties. Okay? All the best for you to take good decisions. Thank you!
