Confession
“Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy” - Proverbs 28:13
John and Mary are siblings. They used to visit their grandmother during their holidays. Their grandmother had hens, goats, ducks and so on in her home. Her grandma used to give them different kinds of food. One day they were playing. John was playing by holding the neck of a duck. Unfortunately, the duck died. John saw nobody nearby and buried the duck. He thought "thank God, nobody saw me" and turned around to see her sister standing behind him. She said, "I will tell this to grandmother". He cried to her, and she kept it a secret.
That night grandmother served a tasty snack made of eggs. Mary tasted and found it was tasty. She took all the snacks from John's plate. John got angry, she threatened saying "I’ll tell grandma". Mary threatened John about the duck often. One day John told everything to his grand ma and seeked forgiveness. Grandma forgave him. Then John wasn't scared of Mary anymore.
In the Bible we can see David committing a big mistake in 2 Samuel 11. He killed Uriah and took his wife Bathsheba and made his wife. This displeased the Lord. The Lord sends Nathan to remind this to David, and he asked forgiveness. As we can see, he sang a psalm and accepted his sin.
My dear! Like this if we are living with sin, we will be facing, fear, worries and loss. If we confess our sins, Christ has the authority to forgive our sins. If we didn’t do that and hid our burdens from sin and carry it on our shoulders, it will be burrowing our heart. Satan will use this opportunity to make us guilty and try to separate us from the Lord. So let us place our burdens in the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ who died for us. And lead a happy life by receiving God's peace. Let us share this happiness from salvation to our neighbors and guide them to heaven. Hallelujah!
