Pray from your heart

 

“Then they will call to me, but I will not answer; they will look for me but will not find me” - Proverbs 1:28

 

Kala built a house by saving money for a long time and invited her neighbors for housewarming ceremony. But she can’t find Rani to invite her for the function. She saw Rani at a Sunday in church and invited her. Kala said, "Rani you are hard to find nowadays". Rani said, "I got a job in a company I’m too busy nowadays, I can’t even pray for half an hour". Kala said " If you can’t pray for half an hour, even if you pray for a few minutes from the bottom of your heart, it is also prayer, isn't it? Prayer is talking to our Father; you can pray when you are working". Rani shook her head thinking about something. 

 

We are in a busy world. We complain about not having time to pray. But you can pray from the bottom of your heart without wasting that few minutes you get. Two people went to church to pray. One stood outside the church and prayed shortly "God have mercy on me, a sinner". He went home justified. Are we praying from the bottom of our heart is important than where are we praying at or when are we praying? You should pray from the bottom of your heart. Don’t forget people see the appearance, God sees the heart (1Samuel 16:17). A leper came to Jesus and prayed shortly "Lord if you are willing you can make me clean". (Mathew 8:2) and got healed. When hanging on the cross a thief prayed "Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom" (Luke 23:42) and inherited paradise. 

 

My dear! We seek God when a need arises and forget to thank Him when the need is met. Bible clearly says, He won't answer to those who don’t listen to His voice and pray to Him whenever they want something. Let us seek God whenever we can and priorities God. Pray from the bottom of our heart. Let us receive heavenly blessings. Amen.
