Reduce the burden

 

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28

 

Hai friends, how are you? Are you busy with your school and homework? Okay. You are bright and active today. I want to tell a story after seeing you. Are you ready? Okay let us dive into the story. 

 

Lot of people served a master. The servants should obey their maser isn't it? If they didn’t listen, they will be fired or punished. But this master loved others and a good man. He loved everyone and helped them. Everyone will obey him without questioning. He called 2 of his servants and gave a heavy bag to one and an easy bag to the other, told them to deliver the bags to a village 10 kms away. He also said, “If you want to reduce the weight of the bag you are free to do so". The guy who carried the light bag thought "I'll be the first to deliver the bag" and started walking happily. 

 

But the guy can’t walk faster because his bag was heavy, so he prayed God help me“and started walking slowly. On there they say lot of little children playing. He thought to rest for a while and kept his bag down. He thought to give those children something and opened the bag and saw what is in it. There was lot of snacks and bananas. He gave the children some snacks. He searched the bag for any important things of the master. He gave bananas to the grownups who were tired. His bag became light. He walked quickly and reached the destination soon. The guy who carried the light bag saw 1 kg mango free with 1 kg mangoes, so he bought 1 kg mangoes and kept it in his bag. Then he saw tender coconuts for a cheaper price, so he bought that too. He started walking as the bag is so hard to carry. He was murmuring that how I will reach my destination by carrying this bag and walked towards the destination. He didn’t talk to anyone or help anyone. He was only looking at what can I get. 

 

My dear brothers and sisters, selfish life is a life with the burdens of this world. You cannot reach heaven by carrying sin and sorrow. You can go to heaven if you give tour burdens to Jesus, love others and help others. Okay?
