Daily Devotion (English) – 02.10.2022 (Kids Special)

 

Everything is for good

 

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who all re the called according to His purpose.” - Romans 8:28

 

Hello children, how are you? Are you good? Okay, you could have seen farmers, mason, painters? Have you seen a firewood seller? Now we are going to discuss about them. 

 

There were two people name Dinesh and Gopi. They made their livelihood from cutting wood. They both knew Jesus very well. But Dinesh will be thanking God even for the smallest blessings. He won’t start his work without praying. But Gopi will be complaining about the God always. Both will go into the woods and return at night. 

 

One day they went to cut the wood as usual. They were shocked to see the entire forest was burning. Gopi was angry, he said " this God won’t let us live peacefully f we are depend on this forest and the trees, we will be left on the streets". But Dinesh came home, he knelt and prayed. He said " Jesus you will do everything in my life for my good, now the forest was burnt, what should I do?". God spoke in his heart, saying" go into the forest and gather the burnt coal, sell them". He said what God told him to do. Coal was sold for a higher piece than firewood. God started to bless Dines. His life changed as he started a shop and became an owner. 

 

Did you see kids? If he was hasty in his decisions his life will be different. Did you see God gave this hard-working Dinesh an easy Job? God will do everything for good, we shouldn't be hasty in our decisions and lose the blessings of God. Okay?
