“Honor your father and mother,' and, you shall love your neighbor as yourself.” - Matthew 19:19
There was an NGO called LOVE. The acronym for this is "Love in the name of Christ". The aim of this organization is to gather all the churches and to get a hold of this wounded and needful world. But the mission changed over time. They are functioning for themselves, but they claim that they are serving God. Jews are also called as the murderers of Christ. During the Second World War, the act of genocide of Jews in holocaust was justified. Like this lot of people claims that they love Jesus, yet they commit genocide.
In today's devotion, Jesus Christ explained the way to eternal life is through love. It is not acceptable to say, "I love Jesus, but I can't love a few". Love Jesus Christ, also we have to accept and love those who meet our help. You should learn to love beyond your boundaries that are you have to learn to love those on the path Jesus has for you. Our natural habit will tell us to love those who are close to us. But the Bible says, “love everyone".
The founder of the world vision Robert Pierce says “Wherever the heart of God is broker, mine is broken there as well. Whatever is making God to shed tears, my eyes will shed tears there." The main theme of today's devotion is "If you didn’t love your neighbors but say I love Jesus" is a lie. Let us show what is said in Mathew 19:19
