Violence
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” - Matthew 11:12
Our country was under colonial rule, leaders like Gandhi, Nehru, Rajaji got freedom by fasting, conducting protests and by nonviolence.
A blind man heard that Jesus is coming from Jericho, so he cried "Son of David, have mercy on me" the disciples rebuked him. But he cried even more violently than before and got his eye sight.
Thomas Alva Edison failed 999 times in finding the electricity, but he tried again and again violently and discovered the electricity on 1000th time. It is notable that he is also a prayer warrior.
A widow was pleading for justice to the judge of that village over and over again. The judge said I will avenge her and stop her from troubling me, and avenged her (Luke 18:4-8). So how can Jesus Christ the perfect judge not listens to our prayers.
Let us inherit heaven by doing what is allotted for us, running with patience, faith and walking on Gods path. There is lot of examples like this on Bible. As we read this we are trying violently for many things. Among those most of them are for worldly desires and for worldly people. But in the Bible Jesus tells us to try violent for one thing. That is heaven. So let us try violently and inherit heaven.
