Weakness - why?
“That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ” - Ephesians 1:12
It was during the time when Christians were tortured in Lithuania, an old woman was struggling from stroke. She was ignored by the guards as she was sick. Due to the severity of the disease, her legs were turned and folded under her body. Her head was hanging down. Almost all her body parts were lost control except her right index finger and her eyes.
She was wrapped around with pillows and made to sit in a sofa, and do you know what she was doing? She had a typewriter on her table and she was translating and typing the books of Billy Graham, watchman nee and so on in Russian, Latvian and other regional languages throughout the night and prayed.
In our Bible, Paul shared gospel amidst his weakness. We can read that he had a needle in his body. Yes, neither weakness nor problems or sickness didn’t stop him from doing God's work. He knows all these things were marked for him already so he overcome this worldly issue and did great things for Christ.
Yes, my dear! Why am I into this sickness even after I seek God? Are you worried that why were you born with these deformities? Don’t worry. Did the God Who created us used that old woman for the glory of His name? He will surely use you to glorify His Name. Praise him in your weakness. Expect miracles from God. God will surely do great things
