Bottle of tears
“…God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes” - Revelation 7:17
There was a tradition in old Persia. Priests will wipe the tears of the people using a cotton in sad crowds, squeeze them into a bottle and store them safely. They believe that, if someone is on their dying bed forsaken by doctors and medicines, letting them drink these tears will make them whole again. They will pour these tears on dead bodies of their loved ones, and burry the bottles with the bodies as an offering.
In the Bible God never forsook those who seek Him with tears. Hagar cried for her son (Genesis 21:6), a widow from Nain lost her son (Luke 7:12,13), king Hezekiah (Isaiah 38:3), the tax collector beat his chest and cried (Luke 18:13), all these people received from God are miracles. That's why king David says, "You put my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in your book?”
Yes, my dear! Are you tired of bitterness in life, failures, diseases, weight, cheated, loss? The God Who keeps track of your tears is with you. So, seek God to console you. The God who walks us by holding our hands will be with us till we die. He will convert your sorrows to happiness.
In 1 Samuel we can see about Hannah. She was made fun of, for not having a child. She was at the peak of hurt when she went to church, knelt down, wept and prayed. Her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. The priest, Eli thought she was drunk. God have her Samuel and changer her sorrow to happiness. Hannah didn't run behind humans but went to God, awarded with a miracle. Like that let us pour our tears in the presence of God. God is the only one who keeps track of our tears.
