Bible makes happy hearts

 

“A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken” - Proverbs 15:13

 

Everyday God purifies those who read and meditate the Bible with passion. God gives His radiance to His children so that they can live with a happy mind and a cheerful face. He is capable of giving His image to us when we fill our heart with the Bible verses. 

 

Once, Thomas Jefferson the American president went for a trip around America with his friends. A wooden bridge was destroyed by flood caused by a heavy rain. He and his friends tried to cross the river on their horses, there a man asked the president "Sir I don't have a horse can you please take me to the other side with you?" Without any hesitation, he took the man to the other side with him. His friends asked him "How dare you ask the president to help you when we all are with him?" He said, "I don't know that he is a president but his face reflected his love and helping mentality, that's why I asked his help." 

 

Yes my dear! God gives the fruits of the spirit that is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control to those who love Him and walks by His words. I won't forget your words. Let us reflect Jesus in our lives show it to others. The happy mind and cheerful face will make our body and mind healthy and help us to lead a good life. A good heart will reflect goodness and good habits. Let God purify us and use us, let us read the Bible with love and let it be our breath. Amen!
