Expensive object

 

“…I have seen your tears...” - Isaiah 38:5

 

An angel came down to earth with a decision of bringing an expensive object from earth to heaven and started searching. He saw beautiful forest, and the flowers in it, birds and waterfall were a feast for the eyes and wonderful. He thought that those found on heaven are more beautiful than what he found here on earth, and he shifted his eyes towards gold which was most sought after by the people. He flew thinking that even the sand in heaven was gold and heard someone crying in a house. He saw tears coming down from someone's eyes and that person is praying like this “Jesus please save the people from sin". So, he thought what else can be more expensive than these tears and caught those tears in his hands and took it to Jesus. 

 

This world will value someone with the possessions they have. But we can be successful by knowing the value of tears. We can see what Nehemiah has done with his tears in the Bible. Nehemiah was cupbearer of the king Artaxerxes. He learnt that the walls of Jerusalem were destroyed, and the entrances were burnt from the brothers came from Jerusalem. So, he took few days leave, spent those days in fasting, weeping and praying and came back to work. 

    

The value of his tears made this king question him. And made the king to give him whatever he needs to rebuild. The city was built in 52 days which was left destroyed for 70 years. This is the victory for the prayers of Nehemiah. 

 

Let us weep for our needs to our Lord. "Everyone should be saved is what God wishes". God can do things through us only if we pray with a weeping broken heart, and prayer. Let us give our tears to take lot of souls to heaven. Let us earn lot of souls which is the only possession that can be taken to heaven. And live a successful life.
