“...Freely you have received, freely give” - Matthew 10:8

 

Most of the middle-class families don’t like freebies. Because they claim freebies are low quality. But there was a guy who gave his discovery free to this world. Jonas Edward Salk is a biologist, he discovered the polio vaccine. He didn't pattern his discovery too. If he did that the price of polio vaccine will cost thousands. He left it open so that everyone from poor to rich can get the vaccine. That's why in every country polio vaccine is subsided or freely distributed by the government. He was asked once "Why didn't you pattern your discovery?" He said "Can anyone get pattern for the sun? Sun is for everyone, and we are benefitted from Sun, so I gave my discovery for free to this world." 

 

God taught many good things to his disciples when he was in flesh. He performed what he taught. Among those was this "Freely ye have received, freely give".

 

Yes, my dear! In our lives today, we are happy by receiving the blessings of love, happiness, peace. We didn't pay a penny for those. But Jesus paid with his blood on the cross for this. We don't recognize the value of these blessings and forget this. And God ordered us to give it to others for free. This scientist didn't keep his discovery for himself and gave it for free to this world as a result lots of lives are being saved. If we share the salvation which we got for free with others, there is no doubt that lot of souls can be redeemed.
