Murali saw a crowd nearby when he was walking on the street. He went to see what is going on. It was an accident, and a man was covered in blood and struggling for life. His heart was moved, and he asked, "why are you watching him and not helping him?" They said we informed 108 and they are on their way. Few said, 'we get involved in all this and get into court and case". Murali tried to help him, but the crowd didn't let him too. Finally, that man died. 

 

Jesus says a parable similar to this in Luke 10:30-35. A man was traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho and on his way; he was injured and left for dead. Priest and a Levite went their way without helping him. But a Samaritan came that way he helped him and took him to an inn and he spent the money he had with him. Jesus said, among these three the oppressed Samaritan is better than the other two. Bible calls him the Good Samaritan. 

 

Nowadays in our society most of us are going our own way without helping like this priest and Levite. If someone like Murali came forward to help, people try to stop them, and it is shameful. What to say about Christians who should reflect the love of God are going their own way. Bible warns not helping others when we can, is a sin. If a live is lost because of our selfishness, we are to blame for that. So let us do our best to change this situation. Let us start the change from us.
