Don't waste

 

“Give us this day our daily bread” - Mathew 6:11

 

Hello precious little children! How are you? Had food? How many times do you eat in a day? Oh 4 times? Okay okay..... Eat healthy food. Avoid packaged foods and junk food. Be it rasam and rice or biriyani, thank Jesus for the food before eating. Will you do it? Okay let's hear a story. 

 

One day there was a prayer meeting in a house. Food was arranged after the meeting, so children started to eat first. One little girl was very little and washed her hand on the remaining food. You shouldn't do it, isn't it? If you can't eat pass it on to your parents. Don't waste. You won't waste food will you? You are such a good children. An old man came rushing to her and drained the water and got some food on the same plate and started to eat. Another Old man asked her why do you eat her leftovers? 

 

He replied "that little girl didn't know that we shouldn't waste God given food. How many children are sleeping hungry" and continued eating. The old man questioning him made a decision that he won't waste food and he will teach what he learnt today to his family too and went home. 

 

So kids how was the story.. Don’t ignore this story. You shouldn't waste your food. Teach your friends also. Do not act stubborn saying "I don't like veg, I only eat non veg so I won't eat this." The food you are eating daily is given to you by Jesus. You are helping someone who is hungry if you didn't waste the food isn't it. Shall we thank Jesus for teaching a good thing? THANK YOU JESUS.
