Are we thieves?

 

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” - Ephesians 5:16

 

Nowadays it is normal to capture the natural scenery and post it on social media. One day an old man aged 80 while booking tickets with his friends to Shimla fell down holding his chest. He was admitted in the hospital and had a heart surgery. He was charged 8 lakhs rupees, he was crying when he saw the bill, people asked him why he said, "For the past 80-year God made my heart to bear without charging a penny, I am a thief who was ungrateful to Him." 

 

Philippians 2:4 says, "Look not every man on his own thing, but every man also on the things of others". Whenever we spend our time or money for others, we are serving them. Mark 10:45 says "For even the son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" we have read this and are we ready to spend our belongings to bring others to the salvation? If not, we are stealing what belongs to God. 

 

My dear time is money. We are losing time when we gossip, watch TV, mobile and so on. John 10:10 says " The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly". We are panicked if a thief come to steal our belongings. So, let us be vigilant and protect our time from robing and use our time wisely. 

 

Let us help as many people as we can in this society and let us share God's love.
