Disasters of the future

 

“Train your child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6

 

Lot of us might hear about brother Bethel Samuel. His approach towards the children staying in his child home is different. Few mischievous boys will roam here and there outside of the hostel. Sometimes warden will catch them red handed in theatres, streets. Those children will be brought to Brother Samuel for punishment. 

 

He will say "These guys? My children don't know to do mischievous things" in a loving way. Then he will tell the wardens, they might have gone to pray with burden and tears for those who come to theatre and send them back to their rooms. Brother Bethel Samuel had a vision of correcting children with love instead of beating them. On seeing his approach based on love, hundreds of his students are shining for Christ in different countries. 

 

We can read in the Bible to correct children with sticks. But Bible teaches us to correct children with love more than sticks. Children have nothing to learn from teachers or parents who are always angry. Instead, they develop bitterness and irritation and lot of them will become anti-social elements when they grow up. Let God help us to guide our children based on love and Bible verses.
