Deprived mind

 

“And even they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do things which are not convenient” - Romans 1:28

 

According to the Bible, God created us male and female, made us create a family according to His plan, to rule this world and to give birth to God fearing generation. Which means in a married life man and woman are brought together to give birth and to raise them for God is our responsibility. That's God's rule. But in recent days humans are changing this. Affairs outside marriage, live in relationship that is living with someone without getting married and breaking up, homosexuality are some sins in which our society is entangled in. This is the situation in the western world but nowadays this culture came to our country as well. We shouldn't forget God hates this. 

 

There are lot of examples in the Bible. Even though polygamy is present in the Old Testament, it not something God likes. We know the result of David sinning with Bathsheba. But in New Testament monogamy is allotted for everyone. Remarriage after divorce is also not accepted by God. We know the result of Sodom and Gamora as they practiced homosexuality. These kinds of people gave over their lives and bodies to lustful desires of low standards. But the Bible says, "They did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind."

 

My beloved youth don't get entangled in these kinds of deathly traps and hold God firmly. Nowadays it is easy to find friends of opposite gender through social media. But God accepts friendship or love of an opposite gender only after marriage. Bible warns Man to be with their wife and a woman to be with her husband. So, meditate the Bible and stay close to God. Protect your mind from deprived thoughts. Amen
