Don't expect thanking

 

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart” - Galatians 6:9

 

In this broken world we are living with people of different characters. We should live among them with God's grace and witnessing life. 

 

In the book of judges we can see about the ungrateful people. In Judges 6:1, 2 Israelites were crushed by the Midianites for 7 years without food or shelter, Gideon saved them from the hand of Midian but Israelites were ungrateful to Gideon and killed his 70 children. (Judges 8:34, 35)

 

Moses hated being called as the son of the princess and chose to suffer with Israelites and came to meet his brethren, they didn't give proper recognition for Moses and we're ungrateful.

 

Dear beloved, in your life people who received well from you will be against you. May be God night have lifted a person or a family from dust to glory. But they might have forgotten God and shamed you and your family. 

 

Amidst all this, let us not grow weary while doing well (Galatians 6:9). Because if we are sad and sit in a corner, being hurt by others it means we are tired. If we are not tired, we will reap in right time. 

 

So let us not expect appreciation or thanks from humans. For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. (Hebrews 12:3)
