Daily Devotion (English) – 24.07.2022 (Kids Special)

 

For Me

 

“The lord will perfect that which concerns me” - Psalms 138:8

 

In a jungle all the animals were living happily. If you were asked who is the king of the jungle you will say lion won't you? In that jungle king lion is a good king, it will not hunt instead only eat the dead animals. It was close with the animals in it jungle. But the number of animals started dwindling, so they organised a meeting. They discussed in that meeting that “How should we chase away the hunter who is hunting nowadays?” Lion is not satisfied with the different answers. It was determined to protect the animals in its jungle. 

 

Lion explained its plan “it told all the animals to hide in the nearby bush, only one animal should act as bait. We all should attack the hunter once he is focused on that animal” among you all who is ready to act as bait asked the lion. There was absolute silence. The lion promised to send its only cub to act as bait. The meeting concluded and all the animals went home. 

 

The next day all the animals were standing in their position. The hunter came; the cub went in as bait. The hunter thought "Today I hit the jackpot" and he fired an arrow. The arrow hit the cub, the animals killed the hunter. They were sad for this dead cub. King was satisfied that all the animals were safe despite losing the cub. 

 

My dear brothers and sisters, like the lion that sacrificed its only cub for the happiness of the entire jungle, Father gave His only Son Jesus Christ for us to be happy and safe. You should do something for the Jesus Christ Who did everything for you on the cross. Will you do children!!
