Disobeyed Duckling
“…You forgave the iniquity of my sin.” – Psalm 32:5
Once lived a duck happily with its three ducklings. Mom duck will take the ducklings to the park to play and enjoy their rime together, like you go to park and enjoy. You will go to shop, won't you? When you go to shop you should obey your parents okay? Among those ducklings one is naughty. If mom duck told them to come home with her, it would reply " wait mom, i will be back in some time". Mother duck will say “children if you are alone dogs and foxes will eat you so stay with me" this duckling won't listen to her.
This naughty duckling will hid itself among the lotus leaves and pretends as if it was lost. One day when the night falls mother duck was returning home with its two ducklings this duckling was still in the water thinking "it can catch up with its mother even if it played for few more minutes", eating small fishes and playing happily in the water. All of a sudden it was terrified on hearing a howl.
It thought "Oh God today I am really going to be eaten, I should have listened to mom". Suddenly it had an idea of praying to God, it prayed saying "Jesus please saves me, I will obey my mother from now onwards and i will be a good child ". It saw a lotus nearby and sat on it, the flower closed. Once the sun's rays hit the lotus in the morning it opened, and the duckling came out and thanked Jesus for saving it from harm. It went home and from that day onwards it obeyed its mom like a good child.
My dear child, disobedience is a sin isn’t it? You should not think "what!! Is this a sin?" Fear brings sin and makes you lose happiness. The blood of Jesus will delete your sins, are you ready to chat with Jesus?
