God of good deeds

 

“If the righteous will be recompensed on the earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner” - Proverbs 11:31

 

We might have heard about Manuneedhi Cholan. The reason behind this name is his ability to pass justice. One day his son ran over his chariot on a calf unexpectedly. Mother of that calf came and asked for judgment; the king ordered his son to be run over by a chariot and killed. So, he got the name Manu Needhi, his original name was Manu. 

 

 In 2 Timothy 4:8 Paul says, "Lord the righteous Judge". Bible says in Titus 1:3 " God who does not lie". In Luke 16 we can read the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. While they both were alive Lazarus was covered with pimples, wounds and weak but the rich man was enjoying all the riches and happiness. Lazarus was by Abraham's side and the rich man was in hades. Bible says in Luke 16:25 "Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony". Yes, our God is a righteous God.

 

My dear, He is Righteous Judge there is nothing evil in Him. As it is said in Ecclesiastes 11:9, "We can live as we wish but we will be judged accordingly". We can fool our fellow human beings and do sins in secrecy. We might think that whatever we do are right. But during judgment even the walls and stones will testify against us. Like Manuneedhi Cholan didn’t spare his son God will not show partiality. So let us all be careful and live towards eternal life.
