Vote of thanks

 

“…be thankful” - Colossians 3:15 

 

We all have seen the vote of thanks in brochure at the end of functions that occur in colleges and offices. Expressing thanks to the coordinators, speakers, and dignitaries is called as vote of thanks.

 

In the Holy Bible, David had sung different types of Psalms. Among all the psalms sung by David, 103 is a thanksgiving psalm in which he sings “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits". David suffered lot of hurdles, problems and chased by enemies. Amidst all these he sings this Psalm “And forget not all his benefits" and thanks God.

 

My beloved, those who are reading this, let us all thank God for protecting us for 6 months in this year. From the beginning of this year, he had given good health, provided for our soul and body. He has protected us from plagues and from situations we are terrified about and gave new beginnings. Let us all thank Him for everything He had done for us. We are bound to thank Him for His guidance. We are thankful to those who help us, then how thankful we should be to the God who created the heavens and earth with His Word. Let us be thankful to one another.
