Holy is Jolly

 

“…you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.” – Leviticus 11:45

 

My dear child, do you think it is easy to lead a holy life in this sinful world? Yes obviously, Jesus said" Be holy for I am holy".

 

After my higher education went to Bangalore for job and my parents were not with me. I can be however I want. I know all cinema songs. I can spot the sing if I hear a line from any song. My friends were amazed by that. Butin few days Jesus brought good friends into my life and I started to know about Jesus. I was saved and I changed my mind from "listening or watching cinema songs is not a sin" to it is sin. I felt that God doesn't want me to sing cinema songs and worship Him with same mouth. Jesus didn’t punish me but instead He gave me a gentle reminder. I didn't take any efforts, but I forgot cinema songs, all I did was surrendered myself to God. After that I stopped singing cinema songs, I don’t even think to sing those songs. You might ask why shouldn’t I sing cinema songs? Those are just songs so what is wrong in it?

 

Among all the angels who were worshipping God, Lucifer is the topmost. He is best known for his music. When we are listening to this music devil will bring unwanted lust, love emotions in our mind. It will first affect our mind. Sin is impregnated in our mind at first. We will get addicted to it without knowing the consequences. This small sin is pushing youths into a presumptuous sin called pornography. For youths like you, what I'm trying to say is " instead of leading a sinful life, write in your heart that holy life is the jolly life". If you surrender yourself in the hands of the Holy God will bless you accordingly in right time.
