Eternal gift

 

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” – Colossians 3:2 

 

We all know about Nobel Prize, but have you heard about Abel prize? Abel prize is given to excellent mathematicians by the Norwegian government. The prize amount is 7.5 million Norwegian kroner and a total of 25 mathematicians have received this award.  

 

We can read the reward God will give us in the Bible. Crown of life, a fruit from the tree of life are few among many, when God speaks to the messenger of the church of Ephesus, He lists the good characters of them and also He points the bad characters as well. He reveals the evil that will flow if they rectify their bad characters. He promises the victor a fruit from the tree of life.

 

When He writes to the Church of Smyrna, he not only talks about the present but also warns about the problems they are going to face in the future. And He promises that whoever stands in truth will be rewarded with the crown of life.

 

My dear, the gifts given by this world is for our specialty in certain situations or things. But God rectifies our shortcomings, and He is ready to give us the gift of eternal life that cannot be taken away or destroyed by anyone. For that God expects us to love Him with all our heart, might and soul. Let us all surrender ourselves to God and receive blessings from Him.
