Decision of a lady
“Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all” - Proverbs 31:29
1. I decide to flee sinful lusts. I will endeavor to keep my thoughts pure. I will keep my body pure. I will not entertain even an unnecessary touch. I make a covenant with my eyes to avoid lustful look.
2. I decide to avoid all suggestive pictures, stories, talks, comments, jokes and even gestures. I will avoid such persons and places that may lead me to sin.
3. I decide to bury the past and not allow satan to condemn me over my forgiven sins. I will examine my sin to find out what led me to fall and avoid such situation at all cost in the future.
4. I decide not to tempt any man to sin. I will dress decently and will be careful with my movements with him. If I sense that he is interested in me, I will pray for him and help him out by avoiding him, caring the less if he is offended by neglect on him. I will avoid being with him.
5. I decide to be an example to believers in purity. I will sacrifice anything which is an offence to them though I may not consider it a sin. I will earn a good testimony from the Lord as well as men. I will accept counsel with meekness.
6. I decide to see any minister of God as a fallible human being and not as an angel. I will avoid developing a personal relationship with him. My letter to him shall be to the point.
7. I decide to keep holiness as my motto.
8. “Many daughters have done virtuously” but my goals will be to excel them all.
