God of hope

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” – Jeremiah 17:7

Loving greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Are you all ready to listen to the story? Yes, ok. But you need to listen and try to follow what you learn.

In a certain town there were two friends. They joined the army of their country as soldiers. Robert was a Christian and his friend Suresh was a non-Christian. Once a war broke out and they fought for their country. The army of the neighboring country invaded their country. They were defeated and they retreated but they were pursued for many miles. At last they found some refuge. When they were sitting, they noticed that Robert was missing. Thinking that he was taken as a captive, they got worried about him. But his friend Suresh affirmed that his friend would join their troop safely. They asked him how he could say it so surely. He asserted saying, “My friend knows Jesus and he will protect him safely.”

When Robert was pursued, he ran into a jungle and hid himself in a cave. While concealing he prayed, “Heavenly father, you are the anchor of my faith”. The enemies were shooting towards each cave as there was possibility for them to conceal in the caves. When they were approaching the cave where Robert was, the commander of the troop ordered saying, “Stop shooting. Do not waste the bullets. 
I think no one is here”. So the soldiers returned without entering the cave. Robert thanked and praised God for his miraculous escape from his enemies. Yes, God never forsakes the one who trusts in Him.

Little girls and boys! We must call upon Jesus in our needs and trouble. We can trust Him100%. Only he has the power to help us and save us. What else do we need? We need not fear as the God of hope is with us.
