Flower in the sky

“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” - Daniel 12:3

Can you count the sand on the seashore or the stars in the sky or the hair on your head? No you can’t. I am the sun, a star. I am still inexplicable even to the scientists. I was made by the Lord Almighty and God saw that I was good. I wondered why and in what way I was special. I examined myself. I understood that God has made me a great light to rule the day. My light is bright and radiant. My brilliant rays reflect on the earth and I have my own glory. I have been mentioned in various places in the Holy Bible. It is written, “The righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” And those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever. It is also given that Jesus Christ is the Sun of righteousness. If you meditate on the word of God, you will get to know my glory.

Let us read what the poet who composed the poem “If you” had written. He says, “One night I had God’s vision. I was wearing a beautiful crown that was adorned with many shining stars. I was sitting by the bank of the river in heaven. Someone came from behind and thanked me. Not knowing the reason for it, I inquired the stranger. He replied saying, “You have no chance to remember me; but I am sure that I have entered heaven only with your timely help. When you shared the gospel, I got to know Jesus and accepted Him as my savior and received salvation. Then there came many more to thank me. Then only I understood that I had received the reward in heaven for my soul winning ministry done on earth and the stars on the crown represent the souls I had won.” This is the part of the poem “If you.” 

Beloved, heaven and earth will pass away. But what you do for Christ will last and be taken into account and you will be rewarded duly. So be the soul winners and shine like me in heaven forever and ever. Resolve to live for the Lord.
