Ship is sailing

“…My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.” - Revelation 22:12

Dear kids, how are you all? Hope that all are keeping fine. 2022 is the current year, isn’t it? How many twos can you see in it? Yes, three twos. Whatever we had lost in the former years-2020 and 2021, will be restored treble to you by God. Can you find a zero? Yes, all the evil and sicknesses will turn to zero, which means nothing. 

Ok, let us come to the story. A certain Sunday school teacher gave each child a blank sheet asking them to write out what they had learnt so far from the stories they listened to every Sunday. All the children were thinking hard. One little boy wrote something fast and gave the sheet to the teacher. Would you like to know what he wrote? Shall I read it for you?  “This is the story of the sailing ship. The ship contains valuable articles. The ship is sailing to different places and the precious articles are to be given to others. Those who receive the gifts will be made happy. Similarly, my life is likened to the ship. This life ship is directed by God. I, the ship possesses many valuable talents. When I make use of my talents for others, Jesus will be happy.” All the children and teachers clapped their hands and cheered him.

Yes, God has bestowed different talents on every one of you. Some may be good at singing or drawing or coloring, painting, memorizing and playing instruments. But without enhancing the talents given to you it is not good to spend a lot of time on TV and mobile phone. Mobile games are so addicting that they will have negative impact on you. Your talents and skills should be honed. Just as the things carried by the ship are useful, your talents can be used for doing good work and for the glory of Jesus. We should never waste or hide our talents. The more we use them, the more they get enriched and enhanced. Jesus will give the reward for your work. Are you willing to give away your talents to Jesus? Very good. Jesus is also ready to use you for His glory. God bless you.
