I know very well that God speaks and teaches many things through men, animals, trees etc in the Holy Bible. So, I am emboldened to speak to you. First of all, let me introduce myself. I am not liked by anyone because of my thorny character. Even animals keep away from me as I am prickly. No one will dare to touch me. So, I was disheartened. But can you believe that I was used by God to reveal His divine desire in Moses’ life to be the great dynamic leader? Yes, I am that bush.

Ok. Let me take you to the wilderness. Come on, board the plane. Look, the plane was flying low. Can you see Mount Horeb which is behind the wilderness? I had grown and lived for years only in this desert. I was exposed to extremely hot and biting cold weather. Let me share my thoughts briefly to you.  God manifested himself to Moses and spoke to him through me and it was a great sight. Similarly, are you the one who reflects Jesus in your life to all around you? I accepted fire and flame whole heartedly. Are you willing to face and endure the hardships come in your way when you are led by God? It may be a burning fiery furnace or a lion’s den. Will you accept it or oppose it saying that it is unbearable? If you patiently endure the difficult situations you face in your life, for sure great things will be done in your life.

I enticed Moses to get closer to me. Can you draw the people who have not tasted the love of Jesus towards you by your deeds? Do people who look at you notice your divine nature and make friends with you? Sorry, I have been posing many questions to you. To be frank with you, my life was full of thorns until I met Jesus. I used to lament about my useless life in the wilderness, my loneliness and forsaken state. My complaints vanished as soon as I saw Jesus. You may have so many questions in your mind. But if you grow in the knowledge of God, He will be the answer to all your doubts. Time is up. If you would like to know about me kindly re-read today’s scripture for devotion. Ok,bye.
