High protection 

 

“Those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart and they defile a man” - Matthew 15:18

 

Raju was working for a computer company. A certain man from a village named Kuppusamy came to the company with an intention to purchase a computer. He said, “My son owns a large grocery shop in the city. So, I want to choose a standard computer.” Raju showed the man the latest and the costliest computers and also the old model computers with less price. On seeing the computer systems, the man got irritated. He shouted at Raju saying why he was showing the computer meant for banks instead of grocery shops. Raju with a smile said, “All the computers are the same. Only the data uploaded by the data server matters. Moreover, different soft wares are used depending on their requirements.” Yes, the output value depends on the value of the input. In the same manner the thoughts stored in our mind can trigger our action. 

 

God says, “What comes out of the mouth defiles a person as it proceeds from the heart. For out of the heart of the men comes evil thoughts, theft, false witness and other vices. If we lay aside all carnal works such as envy, fret and wrath, we shall experience the fruit of the spirit namely love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness gentleness and self-control abounding us. To acquire the fruit of the spirit we need to strive hard. When we look at ourselves in the real mirror, the word of God, our sins and shortcomings will be exposed and our heart will be re-aligned and transformed to yield fruit of the spirit. 

 

Beloved, prayer with Bible reading is like the breath of our life. A computer exposes all the information uploaded. Likewise, our hearts must be filled richly with the word of God and prayer. Then the fruit of the spirit will be exhibited and it enables us to be holy. May God grant us the strength to safeguard our heart with the word of God and prayer. Amen.
