God does everything beautifully 

 

“He has made everything beautiful in its time…” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

 

A passer-by was walking by the side of the fields. His eyes fell on the big pumpkins with long vines on the ground in pumpkins fields. He grumbled saying why God has made such big pumpkins with thin and weak stems that they could not hold up the vegetables. After sometime, he felt tired and he could not walk any further as it was extremely hot. He lay down under a banyan tree to rest a while. But soon he fell fast asleep. A small banyan fig fruit from the banyan tree fell on his head. He woke up startled as he assumed that a big pumpkin had fallen on his head. Then when he came to himself, he understood that it was just a small banyan fig. At once he began to thank God for His immense wisdom in creating a pumpkin big and making it grow on the ground. He could imagine what would have happened if a big vegetable like pumpkin fell from a tree on his head.

 

Abraham, the father of faith sent his servant Eliezer to find a wife for his son. He was instructed by his master concerning this matter before leaving. Thus, Eliezer began his task assigned to him according to his master’s wish. When his search was in progress on one side, Isaac went out to meditate in the field. Eliezer was praying earnestly for the success of his endeavor. Isaac and Eliezer entrusted everything in God’s hands. So how perfectly God facilitated his efforts and made it happen to Eliezer! When it was time to take Rebecca with him, according to Abraham’s plan, Eliezer said, “Blessed the Lord who had led me in the way of truth.” 

 

Beloved readers, Our Lord does everything beautifully and in the way of truth. Every single cell in our body is made well by God. Let us trust in God and believe that our Lord is so mighty to carry out perfectly and beautifully the matters concerning our family life, education, job and marriage and the future of our children. In the New Year let us remember to give thanks to God for leading us in an excellent and wonderful way every day. Let us trust in God’s perfect timing.
