Nimmy’s Reply

 

“…For the temple of God is Holy, which temple you are.” - 1Corinthians 3:17

 

It was a very pleasant evening with cool breeze blowing gently. The chirping of birds and the singing of the children were heard. Yes, Sunday school was going on. Having finished the opening prayer, Sister Hephzibah taught them a new song, a story and memory verse. All the children sang the song exceedingly well with action. You all sing action songs superbly, don’t you? yes. Then sister Hephzi asked them for last week’s memory verse. Many children recited the verse fluently. They were given encouragement gifts. You all get motivational gifts from your Sunday school teachers, don’t you? Yes, Ok. 

 

Then Sister Hephzi asked, “Is God great or small? All the children answered in chorus that God is very great and big. Nimmy alone stood up and stated that God is small because He dwells in my little heart. All were astonished at her answer. Sister Hephzi appreciated and gave Nimmy a present. Nimmy was happy. As the other children said, we know His greatness by His miraculous deeds but He is small enough to dwell in our little hearts by faith He dwells within us in our spirit. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Won’t you give place to Jesus in your heart? If He lives in us, there will be a super transformation within us. Then we will experience the fullness of joy that is true and lasting. If we entreat Him earnestly to abide with us, He will certainly be with us. As Jesus was with Nimmy, she could witness boldly. Can we call upon God to live in us? If God is within us, our life will be very happy. Are you ready to invite Jesus into your hearts? There will be bubbling in our heart and spirit if He stays with us! Super! Super! Super!
