EXPIRY DATE

 

“The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years… for it is soon cut off, ….” - Psalm 90:10

 

In our day-to-day life we buy some products from the shops and use and in those products, expiry date is marked. We have to use those products before the expiry date. If not, even if we bought that product for a higher price and whatever may be the product, we cannot use that product. Specifically, if it is eatable, it will be rotten or spoiled. So, when we buy products, we must give attention to the expiry date of that product. 

 

All, those are created by the Lord, are having their own expiry date in this earth. The Lord did not create us without any intention and plan. Within that period, we have to complete the works to be done for the Lord. 

 

In the Holy Bible, a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil and she poured it on His head. At that time, Jesus gave her good testimony, regarding the act of that woman as she has done what she could. Before the expiry of the expiry date of that woman, she did her work and got good testimony from Him. 

 

Beloveds, who are reading this! Each and every man’s life may be for seventy years or if by reason of strength, they be eighty years. So, in our days of living in this earth, given by our Lord gracefully, we shall do our best before the end of our expiry date. We shall make our living days, the most useful. So, we shall practice ourselves to serve the God with fear. We shall have desire to get His grace from Him. The Lord will fulfill our desire.
