Daily Devotion (English) – 15.09.2021

 

He will break! You will be created!!

 

“…he made it again into another vessel...” - Jeremiah 18:4

 

When it is the matter of our Lord, as human being, our human brain is little bit confused. Children are playing. Abruptly they take the sand and begin to eat it. Instantly, parents hit their hand. For those children, it gets them tears. At once they begin to cry. When we were students in a class room, abruptly as per our nature, we would do mischief. Right away, the teacher condemns. Sometime he hits us. That gives us pain. But the above two matters are to correct us only and not for any other reason and purpose. 

 

In the Holy Bible, we can feel the views of the Lord, towards His people, by reading Jeremiah 18th chapter. When He looks His people as the vessel, which was made up of clay and it was marred in the hands of the potter. But that potter made it again into another vessel, by giving some pains and unwanted situations to it, as it seemed good to the potter to make. Here we can see that the Lord compared His people with this matter and guided them to a good way. 

 

Beloveds! The Lord is our potter. We are the clay in His hands. As per our nature, sometimes, we become rotten. To correct us, the Lord allows some problems, struggles and experiments to us and has willingness to break us. The Lord makes us as another vessel as it seemed good to Him. That means, He modifies us and our characters. Then we can be useful. We glorify His name. Here, we should understand that the Lord will break us! Thereby we will not be trashed but will be created! Therefore, we give ourselves into the hands of the Lord; to be used by the Lord!
