Don’t forget!

 

“…let them first learn to show piety at home and to repay their parents;” – 1 Timothy 5:4

 

Kutties! Do you know what the day today is? Teachers’ Day. Since you have not gone to school, nowadays, have you forgotten? But you should not forget this. The teacher who is teaching you the education is the most important person. You must thank God for them. OK.

 

Those students who have completed their fifth standard have gone newly to sixth standard by wearing their uniform, following Kamala teacher, under a tree. Names were read from the attendance register. When Kannan’s name was read, all students said “He did not come. He is absent, Miss.” Ramesh stood up quickly and said, “Kannan studies well. He got first mark in fifth standard, Miss.” After three days, Kannan came to school without oil in his hair and with dirty clothes. All students thought “Always he used to come to school neatly dressed up. But what happened to him?” Next month he got low marks in all subjects. 

 

Kamala Miss called Kannan and kindly enquired him. He told about his mother’s death due to the disease of cancer. Kamala teacher consoled him and motivated him to study well. Kamala teacher did all assistance by saying “I will look after all your educational needs.” Kannan started studying well by forgetting his mother’s death. By passing the years, he studied well and got good marks and school first in 10th and 12th standards. He did his higher studies in a foreign country and there also he got good marks. After completing his studies of medicine, an appreciation ceremony was arranged in the college. Kannan invited Kamala teacher, who was very much helpful to him in all means. Everybody saw amazingly one elderly mother coming to the stage. Kannan went hurriedly and brought her by holding her hand and said, “Her support and encouragement are the reasons for my progress. She is not only my teacher; but my mother and guide also and she is the reason for my superiority.” That auditorium was vibrated by the sound of claps. 

 

Dear brother and sister! Your teachers are the reasons for your goodness and discipline, no? This day, you must remember and pray for your teachers who taught you. Will you do that? Very Good.
