Money-Deficient Heart-Abundant

 

“Now godliness with contentment is great gain.” - 1 Timothy 6:6

 

Today, less money and deficiency of money are the greatest challenges in this world. This is considered as the biggest worry among the worries men are having. Especially in these days of corona, many people are tired because of not having proper employment, no income, hike in prices of essentials and increase in day-today-needs. Why? In many countries even those Governments are facing the challenge of deficiency of money.

 

In the Holy Bible, our Lord had wonderfully fed Elijah, the prophet and the families supported by him along with nations. When there was famine, the Lord ordered Elijah to go to the brook Cherith. He said, “I have commanded a widow woman there to provide you.” As per 1 Kings 17:16, ‘she, and he, and her household, ate for many days.’ Moreover, the Lord heard the prayer of Elijah and sent rain on the earth. The Lord had carried out it perfectly without any deficiency. Like this, there are so many incidents in the Bible.

 

Children of God! Money may have deficiency, but mind should not have deficiency. I must write here that in these days of corona, our Lord is feeding our missionaries of VMM, maintaining them and rescuing from the pandemic. Friends! Are you facing the challenge of deficiency of money and not able to meet this crisis? You please think about the poor people who are poorer than you. Thank God whole heartedly for his leading this much. Help those who are poorer than you. You can feel the satisfaction in your heart. We shall try to live a satisfied and sufficient life, even in these days of pandemic!
