Daily Devotion (English) – 22.06.2021

 

“For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.” – Hebrews 10:37

 

A conference of Satan’s was held in hell one day. They made plans to prevent people from walking in path of salvation. Even though many suggestions were given the following three were taken into consideration

 

1. There is no God

2. There is no hell

3. The lord is not coming soon.

 

The first one was rejected as that false news was already spread. The second one was dropped as people would think more about heaven if there is no hell. The third idea was welcomed by all Satan’s with cheers they felt that Christians would be happy to know about the delay in the Lords return. 

 

But the Bible says “The day of the Lord is at hand.” We cannot be reckless. Whether people believe the truth or not, it will take place shortly “The judge is standing right at door!” (James 5:9). “The end and culmination of all things is near.” (1Peter-4:7) So be holy in all your conducts. Whatever responsibilities, ministries or work that have been entrusted to us, must be carried out faithfully and diligently.

 

Dear ones suppose guest are visiting us the next day, how well prepared are we to receive them. We get everything ready the previous day itself. “Yes, I am coming quickly” (Rev.22:20) says the Lord. So, our waist must be girded and lamp kept burning. When the sound of the trumpet is heard, we will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord.
