The Father Who Never Lets You Beg

 

“...yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread” - Psalm 37:25

 

Last month, by God’s grace, we were able to organize and conduct a children’s camp in Villupuram. We needed to purchase gifts to distribute to the children attending the camp. We prayed earnestly, trusting that the financial needs for this purpose would be met. Only two days were left for the camp, and we still had no money to buy the gifts. That night, we couldn’t sleep because of worry. The reason for our sleeplessness was the anxiety that we lacked the funds to purchase the gifts. A sense of unease filled my mind as I reflected on the fact that we were ministering in a place where we knew absolutely no one. Suddenly, a specific word came to my mind. God spoke to me, saying, "It is true that you are ministering in a place where you know no one; however, do not forget that Jesus the Almighty One who created everyone is right there with you." In that very instant, my heart was filled with joy. With tears in my eyes, I prayed, "Dear Jesus, You are with me, that is enough." Having concluded my prayer, I set out for the ministry work the next morning with great enthusiasm. That afternoon, I received a phone call. The caller asked how much it would cost to purchase the gifts for the children's camp we were about to conduct, and they immediately provided us with the necessary funds. Using that money, we purchased the gifts. God graciously blessed and prospered the children's camp. The Apostle Peter writes: “Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” In his Epistle to the Philippians, Paul writes: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Therefore, let us make our needs known to God and remain steadfast in faith.

 

Dear brothers and sisters, are you feeling like you have no one to help you in your ministry or personal life? Don’t worry. The Bible says, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”. Yes, the Almighty God stands right beside us, watching over us. Jesus will transform all your worries. When we act in complete reliance upon God, would He ever abandon us? Never! The God who chose you while you were yet in the womb will never cast you out onto the streets.
