A Fruitful Life

 

"As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God" - 1 Peter 4:10

 

A life lived for Christ is expressed not merely through words, but through dedication. God has bestowed upon every believer three precious gifts: time, talent, and wealth. When we utilize these three for the glory of God, our lives become fruitful.

 

A wise farmer never neglects three things if he wants a good harvest: time, tools, and water. Similarly, in the life of a believer, time acts as the seed, talent serves as the tool, and wealth functions as the life-giving water. It is only when these three elements come together that a spiritual harvest is realized.

 

Time is a gift from God that can never be regained. We should use our time for prayer, reading the Bible, and serving others. Time is like a seed that must be sown (Ephesians 5:16).

 

Talent is the ability God has given us. Whether it is singing, teaching, writing, or organizing, when we use our talents for Christ, they become a blessing to many people.

 

Wealth is not only money but all the resources God has given us. When we share them for God’s kingdom, it is like watering the seed (Matthew 6:21)

 

Two biblical figures who utilized these three gifts exceptionally well were the Apostle Paul and Nehemiah! Paul dedicated all his time, knowledge, and labour to the Gospel, leaving behind the testimony: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race" (2 Timothy 4:7). Nehemiah spent time in prayer, executed the task with leadership prowess, and shared his resources for the sake of the people, thereby rebuilding the broken wall in a remarkably short time (Nehemiah 6:15).

 

When time is sown, talent is used, and wealth is shared a believer's life transforms into a bountiful harvest. These three gifts, dedicated to Christ, bear fruit on earth and yield eternal rewards. If you sow your time, invest your talents, and share your wealth, your life will become fruitful.
