Youth - Sweet Age

 

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth;..." - Ecclesiastes 12:1

 

Rockefeller from America is one of the richest men in the world. Once, when he was out for a walk, a handsome, strong young man was trying to commit suicide. Rockefeller stopped him and asked him the reason. The young man replied, “I am well educated, but I have not been able to get a good job or a proper salary. My life is full of poverty and there is no happiness at all. That is why I made this decision. Who are you?”. Then Rockefeller introduced himself as a very wealthy man.

 

Immediately, the young man said, "Sir, you are living happily and comfortably with all the facilities. Even if you give me a part of your wealth, I will live happily too." Rockefeller said, "Not just a part, I will give you all my wealth. But you must give me one thing." I am very poor, what can I give you? He said. I want to give you your priceless youth. Will you give it to me? He said. The young man, understanding that no matter how much wealth he has, cannot be compared to youth, decided to work hard and progress. Yes, vibrant and lively youth is a priceless asset. Many of us do not realize that.

 

Social media is traveling with you to overthrow and destroy you. Cinema addiction, glamour, the attraction of drugs, sexual desires.... and many more. Do not lose this priceless youth of yours by giving room to worldly pleasures. The mistakes you make in your youth will secretly follow you until old age, bringing you into disgrace.

 

My dear young people, be alert! Turn your hearts! Remember your Creator in your youth. Commit yourself to His hands. God will protect and bless you.
