Try asking!

 

"O taste and see that the LORD is good..." - Psalm 34:8

 

Dear children, how are you? Are you ready to go to Sunday class today? You must listen carefully to what is taught there and ask Jesus for help to live accordingly. Okay, my dear little ones!

 

Sheela attended Sunday class every Sunday without fail. She prayed daily. How about you, kids? No matter what you forget, you should never forget to talk to Jesus every day. Sheela studied in a hostel. All the other children's parents would come to visit them and buy them all the snacks they needed. Sheela had no father or mother. How difficult that must have been! She would often talk to Jesus. What do you think she would say? She would pray, "Jesus, You are my mother, my father. You know what I desire."

 

One day, she also longed to eat murukku (snacks). She remembered what was taught in Sunday class: that a crow brought bread and meat to Grandpa Elijah, and that if you pray, Jesus will change all your difficulties and help you. Immediately, she started talking to Jesus. She prayed, "I want murukku, Jesus, I really feel like eating it." If you need anything, your parents will buy it for you. Or you'll order it through Zomato or Swiggy, but Sheela didn't have anyone like that, did she? Do you know what happened next? When she woke up in the morning, what a surprise! A crow brought a packet of murukku and dropped it beside her. Sheela was overjoyed. She jumped up and down saying, "Thank You Jesus!" All the hostel children began to believe that Jesus is there to give her everything she asks for, and that He would help them too.
