Answer to Prayer

 

"...But I give myself to prayer" - Psalm 109:4

 

I know a brother who had a serious heart problem. He used to vomit blood often. I told him to ask Jesus for healing, and that he would be cured. The brother said that all the gods had forsaken him and asked if your Jesus was going to heal him. I started praying for him every night at midnight. One day, when I contacted him by phone, he said somewhat dejectedly that he “didn't even know who I was”. Again, I told him that Jesus would heal him. He said that everyone had left him. He had surgery scheduled for Thursday, and the doctor had already told him that his survival was unlikely. He said that if he received healing without the surgery, he would accept Jesus. When I prayed for him again, I received a vision that the brother had been healed. The next day, I tried to contact him by phone, but I couldn't reach him. Three weeks later, the brother came to our house and told us that he no longer had blood vomiting. He said that he was fine without the surgery, and that he had accepted my Jesus. With tears in my eyes, I thanked Jesus.

 

Even in the Bible, when we look at Hannah, she went to the temple every year and prayed for her affliction to be removed. She went to the temple alone, wept bitterly, and prayed, "O Lord of hosts, look upon the suffering of Your servant.

 

Do not forget me, but if you will give me a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life..." She made a vow and prayed that a razor would never touch his head, and her tearful prayer was answered.

 

Dear beloved in Christ, the Lord expects you to have a personal time with Him today. Whatever your problem may be, when you tell it to Him instead of telling people, i.e. when you pray, you will receive the answer. He will reveal His plans for your future. Do you have a private prayer time and a prayer room to speak with God? Think about it.
