Daily Devotion (English) – 01.01.2026 (Happy New Year - 2026)

 

God Who Is Always With Us

 

“…I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” - Joshua 1:5

 

Once, in the early years of my ministry, as I was preparing for a night prayer meeting, God gave me many prophetic words. I needed 50 rupees to travel there. I didn't have it. But God had given me the words, and I wondered how I could not go. So I started and went to the bus stand. A blind man came there. I told him that Jesus loves him. He said that he was also a minister. After talking to me, as he was leaving, he gave me 50 rupees. I thanked God and went to the night prayer meeting and completed the ministry glorifying the Lord. God not only gave me the prophetic word but also stayed with me and guided me.

 

Similarly, even when Peter denied Jesus, God did not abandon him but looked at Peter. Immediately, Peter wept bitterly. Jesus was with him and used him powerfully. God guided him so that people were healed even by Peter's shadow, and by his garments and handkerchiefs. The God who created us, even if we stray from Him, forgives us and protects us by being with us. When we also long to be with Him, He uses us powerfully.

 

Dear Beloved, how loving our God is! Let us also follow the God who guides us without ever leaving us. What are we going to do this year for the Lord who has never forsaken us throughout all these years? Shall we do what we can as our contribution? Based on that, God led us to designate this new year as the "The Year of Deciding Our Contribution" . We strive so much for our families. But is there any benefit or profit for God through us? No. Let us decide and offer our contribution so that God may be glorified through us in this year. May the Lord, who is always with us, remain with us and guide us. Amen.
