The God Who Cares

 

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” - 1 Peter 5:7

 

In a village full of small ponds and beautiful fields of chillies and cotton, there lived a man named Ganesan.He has an elder brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister. But more than all of them, Ganesan is the only one who is extremely pious. If anyone in this brother's village talks about Jesus, he will chase them away from the village.

 

Ganesan, who had completed his schooling and gone to college, suddenly had difficulty in breathing, so his parents took him to the hospital. The doctor who examined him said that he had a big hole in his heart and that they could not save him. Every night, the fear of dying tormented them. He cried and lamented that there was no one in this world to heal him. At that moment, he remembered the words of a preacher who had visited their village and said, “Jesus heals.” Immediately, Ganesan went to a church and cried, “Jesus, please give me life.” Within a week or two after he went to the church, there was great joy in his heart. When he went back to the doctor and got tested again, the doctor said there was no sign of any hole in his heart. He jumped with joy that Jesus had healed him.

 

After a few days, he had a doubt. We worshiped all the gods, and ten out of eleven, we worshipped this Jesus too. Which God healed us? While he was sleeping in such confusion, a terrible light filled the entire room where he was lying. Jesus stood before him, crying. Ganesan, not knowing who He was, asked, “Who are You? Why are You crying?” Jesus replied, “I am Jesus the One who healed you Immediately, Ganesan began to cry. Jesus told him, “Many people still do not know Me. Will you tell them about Me?” And then Jesus disappeared. From that day onwards, Ganesan started going from village to village telling everyone about Jesus. Because of him, the village missionary movement began.

 

Dear brother, sister! Jesus, who gave life to that Ganesan Annan, has come looking for you today. Whatever your problem is, tell that to Jesus, and Jesus will do a miracle for you too.
