Blessing That Comes from Being Truthful

 

“…thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things…” - Matthew 25:23

 

Hello little ones! Do you go to school regularly without taking leave? Super! Kids, we should never be idle. If we are lazy, our hearts will become a place for the devil to live. We should keep ourselves busy by doing daily homework, playing games, helping our mother, etc. Okay? If we keep watching mobile phones and T.V., it will enslave us. Your eyes will also be affected. We should be faithful to "JESUS" even in the time given to us. Shall we hear a story now?

 

A small family lived happily in a village. Father and mother were always busy and working very hard as they were farmers. They used to run the family with the income they got from the vegetable garden. Roshan, a seventh grader, used to help his hard-working parents as much as he could.

 

Suddenly, his father fell ill. His mother would go to the garden and pick vegetables. Roshan would take them all to the market on his bicycle and sell them. When no one was around, he would take a book and do his homework. One day, the collector came to the market. He asked Roshan Why are you doing business at this young age instead of studying? and asked him about his family situation. He said, "I will do everything I can to help you with your studies," and shook Roshan's hand and left. When Roshan came home, he told his parents everything that had happened. "You were honest in your work and studies, so this is a golden reward for you!" His father was happy. Roshan continued to study well. The collector also kept helping him. Do you know why? He was born in a very poor family and worked hard to study and progress, so he helped such people. Roshan also studied well and went to a high government job.

 

Dear children! no matter how hard your situation is, if you stay faithful and active, God who sees you will lift you up!
