Useful Person

 

“Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me” - Philemon 1:11

 

In America, a young man named John was abandoned by his family and relatives. He picked up scraps of iron lying on the side of the street and took them to a blacksmith shop, sharpened them, and made knives. The first time he made two knives and sold them at a low price to a house. The mother of the house said, "This knife is good, you can make more knives." He also accepted it as good advice and worked hard and made many knives. Over time, he bought iron at a good price and made quality knives and opened a shop, naming the shop "John Knife". As the business was booming, he rose to a high position in life. His family also joined him.

 

In Genesis, a man named Joseph We look at the young man. His brothers hated him very much. They wanted to kill him and threw him into a pit. Then they sold him as a slave to a foreign country. Joseph was very oppressed in every way. However, the Lord was with him and made everything he did successful. He was a resourceful person. Later, even though he was imprisoned for a crime he did not commit, he was promoted to the position of leader there. Then he was made the ruler of Egypt. The situation was such that his brothers came looking for Joseph who was promoted in Egypt. The reason was the famine everywhere. Joseph who forgave his brothers and joined them was blessed.

 

Dear Friends! Are you also considered useless by your family and relatives? It is by His hand to exalt and strengthen anyone. May the Lord bless you according to this verse. In the above verse, Onesimus, the slave of Philemon, He was imprisoned for committing a crime. There he met the apostle Paul, received the word of the Lord, and was sent back to his master. Yes, it is easy for God to transform us, who are considered useless by the world, into useful ones. Believe that God is able to lift you up again among those who have despised and cast you out.
