Gifts to Work

 

“And He ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach” - Mark 3:14,15

 

Sister Violet Aaron, a godly mother, is a sweet singer. She tells how she received the gift of casting out demons and the counsel God gave her. "Daughter, lift up your hand and praise me for three hours; I will bless your hands; wait at my feet to fulfill the ministry I give you," said the Lord. This mother also set a day for this and prayed and waited alone at the feet of God. She raised her hands and praised the Lord. After an hour and a half, the pain in her hands was unbearable. In this situation, she cried out, "God, I can't." Then an angel of God came down and lifted up both her hands and held them. Then she spent the next hour and a half praising and glorifying God. That very day she received the graces, power and gifts of the Lord.

 

Dear children of God who are reading this, don’t you also long to minister with gifts and to go into the villages and preach the gospel and have demons flee and the sick be healed? For this, we need to do some things. That is to wait for hours at the feet of the Lord and have a relationship with God in private prayer! Jesus Christ also chose his disciples to be with him first (Mark 3:14,15).

 

It is only when we are at the feet of God that He will teach us many things and show us what we should do in our ministry. When we minister without knowing the will of God, we will not get results, and we will not be able to harvest souls. Heaven will recognize only the servant who does His will, and only then will the gifts work. We must do what pleases the Lord. If we serve for the sake of fame, we will become miserable. Therefore, beloved, let us know what God's will is for each of us, and immediately obey it and receive the gifts.
